Play Therapy Finding Their Way
Play is the natural language of childhood. Through play and creative arts, children can safely explore feelings that are too big or confusing to put into words. Play Therapy can help when a child:• seems anxious or worried a lot• has big outbursts or often shuts down• struggles after a loss, separation or big change• finds it hard to manage friendships or school.
In the playroom, your child is gently supported to make sense of their inner world at their own pace.
Supporting Children Through Play and Creative Arts
I’m Tessa, a Play Therapist and a registered member of PTUK. I’ve spent over 20 years working closely with young children and their families in roles such as class teacher and nursery nurse. I know how worrying it can feel when your child is struggling and you’re not sure how to help. In our sessions, your child has a calm, child‑led space to express themselves through play, while you have a safe, non‑judgemental place to share your concerns and questions. My approach is warm, respectful and grounded in safeguarding and trauma‑informed practice, so you can feel confident your child is held safely.
